Spring meeting 2017
Basic and Translation Research in Vascular Surgery
Leiden University Medical Center, the Netherlands
19 - 20 May 2017
The european Society for Vascular Surgery

Welcome to the 5th ESVS Spring Meeting in Leiden in 2017!

We would like to invite you to Leiden for the 5th ESVS Spring meeting on 19th and 20th May 2017.

Last Spring, we came together in London for 2 days of lively discussions on leading research in vascular biology, novel materials and innovative devices covering all aspects of vascular disease.
Previous participants updated us on the latest findings from their research programmes and new contributors introduced fresh topics and ideas, at high quality scientific and poster sessions.

This year, we will continue to focus on basic and translational vascular research and would particularly encourage researchers to come with their teams and collaborators to present their cross-disciplinary work. The meeting will take a similar structure to previous years, starting on Friday through to Saturday afternoon, with key note lectures from international experts, oral and poster presentations. The Friday evening networking dinners have been great fun over the past 4 years and will clearly remain a vital aspect of the meeting.

The best abstracts will be published in the European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. The four best paper presenters get an invitation to present their work at the prize session of the annual meeting of the ESVS.

We sincerely hope you will submit your work for presentation at the meeting and join us in Leiden in May 2017.
